Hi, am enquiring for a friend who is away on holiday - she has a non CC breed (they are Rare Breeds), but her dog has been in Finland and won 2 CC's over there, and hoping to get 3rd for Finnish Champion in near future. She wants me to enter him for Crufts in Post Grad Dog, so just checking that is okay because of him having the two CC's, not sure if they would count for anything over here, or would he have to go in a higher class? Hilda
No, any award that counts towards becoming a champion - no matter which country it is from - is counted the same as a CC. Therefore he can only go in Limit or Open.
Wish our breed had PGrad! We go from bad to worse with our classifications. Last year we got Yearling, so pups had to go into Open, this year we get Puppy, Junior then Open. I'm not sure if I will bother entering this time around. I supported the breed last year with my pup in Good citizens class, but..... :-(
Not sure the answer to this and with so much stuff to read on the schedule and it not jumping out to me thought i'd ask here. If you enter Good Citizen, can you qualify for Crufts 2011 from winning that class??
the problem is though unless they get the numbers this year the classification wont improve for next year
We had over 70 dogs last year & still didn't get a good classification this year. As for Good Citizens, pretty every SWD has got a bronze or more so it's a wacking great class!!
