Congratulations......Best wishes to you both, I saw a wedding at Grenta a few years ago it was brilliant.
Nicki, when my niece got married, she had a choice of two rooms in GG to marry in. Have you been given a choice and if so, which room have you chosen?
Aww thanks everyone, really glad that everyone that has had experience of a wedding there has enjoyed it.
Oldilocks - It will be in the Old Blacksmiths Shop :-)

It was fabulous in The Old Blacksmith's Shop! You have chosen well! :)
Ooooo really! Good, so glad! :-)
Thanks for that, you have put my mind at rest I was worried it was going to be a bit naff!
How many people attended your neices wedding if you don't mind me asking?

I think that there were about 40 of us, it was 10 years ago so I have forgotten a lot of the details. I remember that she had a piper to 'pipe' her in and he was playing outside the room so that you could still hear it in the distance during the wedding. It was lovely! Incidentally, we are a Welsh family (and the bride and groom) and we all travelled up to Gretna for the wedding. Are you having the reception in the Gretna Green Hotel?
There will only be 25 of us, we will be having the reception at Smith's Hotel, it has only been open for about three years and they own the Blacksmiths Shop. I am having the piper too :-)
My dad is Scottish so it makes it all the more special really :-)

Brilliant! I wish I was coming! :)
