pups first show is 16th january and i have just been looking at the schedule, its not based on the group system, there is a avnsc puppy class and a av working puppy am i right in thinking that if i put her in the av working and she won the class even though there is avnsc puppy she would still be able to go through to best puppy in show?

If your breed is classified you would not be able to enter avnsc puppy.
Yes if the show is not judged on the group system & you win av working puppy & don't go in any other classes you will be able to challenge for BPIS.
there are no breed classes, so i dont have to enter the avnsc class and just put her in the av working?

as your breed is not classified you can enter either avnsc or av working puppy.
if your breed had been classified you would not have been able to enter the nsc classes even if puppy hadn't been classified in your breed.
thanks, i know if we had breed classes i would to have entered her in them i was just asking about the avnsc and av working, and i though i could enter just the av working but just wanted to double check befor i send off my entry.

I thought AVNSC was counted as a breed class and therefore as there's an AVNSC Puppy it's not possible to enter AV Puppy without entering AVNSC too?

No, as the show is not judged on the group system, best puppy in show comes from any puppy which has not been beaten by another puppy. the puppy that wins avnsc puppy & the puppy that wins av working puppy both challenge(as long as they have not been beaten by another puppy) for BPIS.
