Just trying to do some research on the vagal nerve stimulator. In particular its use for depression does anyone have any information or knowledge at all anything may prove useful. If you want to pm me please do as for some it could be quite personal.

I only know of its use in epilepsy, I didn't even know it could be used for depression.

Although I don't mean to say that it hasn't been used for depression, just that I hadn't read anything about it.

yes thats the problem getting more information , it is used in the states. apparently there was some indication hat patients using it for epilepsy should an increase in mood so it has now been used for resistant depression but little is done in this country and the doctors generally mumble and then dont go further even after exhausting all other routes by there own admission. It was just a thought that one of the cd'may have come across it this way
