Does anybody elses dog just luuuv bath time?

My little Luna would have one every day if she could.  As soon as she sees me mixing the shampoo she has her feet up on the side of the bath squealing with excitement but she is too little to get herself in.  If it's someone elses turn she is beside herself with disbelief.

My other dogs are not so keen, although my Chows very politley climb in when told to they then proceed to emit noxious fumes as a type of silent protest.

My little pug man does not like water round his nether regions and my dobe girl has to be lifted in but is well behaved if a bit bemused as to why it is nessssary.

Anyone else got any bath times tales? :)

ahh little water baby!  My last dog loved having baths so much so that my OH was in the bath and on one occasion he thought I had surprised him and was getting in but then he looked and saw it was Spangler :)  not sure which he preferred really hee hee

My dogs now are a little different, they don't mind having a shower in the wet room once they are there but they always pretend they can't hear me when I call them - but they love swimming and dirty water :)

used to have a pointer/whippet called Freckles, he would get in the bath but stand and shiver and shake. we were being a bit silly with him and stuck a plastic shower cap on him... ..... He stopped the 'pretend to be a jelly' stuff and stood quite happily with the cap on his head and his ears tucked up inside it. :D: It went on the essentials to bath Freckles list.
Got a photo somewhere of him wearing it if I could sort out how to get them up.

If one of mine isn't entered for a particular show, they get wind of it when they dont get bathed.
The one to be left behind tries everything to get in the bath-  as they know....... bath means awayday with Mum.

My boy Domino used to try and avoid baths by hiding in with the other dogs, shame he was the only black and white in the pile of red and whites :)
