for all your raw feeders out there

does anyone elses dog start smelling if they eat dry/tinned food?

i find if i feed raw they dont smell , by smell i mean that greasy doggy smell , but if they eat any dried / tinned food they start to stink!!

both my dogs smelt 'doggie' (wet dog smell when dry type smell!) when they were fed on commercial dog food.  When I started to feed BARF the smell disappeared within a few days.  I have been advised that the smell is from the ingredients within dog food that dogs are naturally designed to eat - how true this is I don't know but after researching commercial dog food ingredients and how it is cooked and processed, it could well be.
