Topic Dog Boards / Showing / Silly clocks going back question...
- By CVL Date 24.10.09 19:39 UTC
Just so I can sleep and won't have nightmares....

We're at Midland Counties tomorrow... show opens at 7.30 am, I'm 2 hours away so plan to leave at 5.30, which will be 6.30 by today's time (as clocks go back, giving me an extra hour in bed).  I'm just paranoid that there's some special dog show rule (like so many others I would never know about) that the show only lasts a certain number of hours, or something similar, and they're exempt from clock changes if the show has opened on another day!  I know this probably sounds stupid, but I thought I'd better check... I'd rather sound like a wally on here than turn up an hour late and have to panic my way into the ring!

Apologies once again for the moronic questions :-D

You're OK to do as you have planned, no doubt someone will forget and arrive an hour early LOL :-).

I have a recurring nightmare which originates from the day I sat my British Horse Society Instructor exam....I forgot to set my alarm clock for the new time and I was late
I was so stressed and flustered I will never forget it.

My hubby has changed all the clocks....so sweet of him ( I have a Health testing day tomorrow - taking 7 dogs) but he had put them all forward 1 hour ...honestly I doubt if I will sleep tomight I'm so confussed.

I love not changing them tonight then realising I have a whole extra hour to do things all day :-D

My kitchen clock is magic and changes itself to the right time! Sadly i dont think my children or my dogs understand about the extra hour in bed! :)

My alarm clock does that, it's great, unless, like this morning I wanted to ignore the clock change so I then have to use an ordinary alarm clock!!
