I have just been to Asda, I went to collect a perscription, and on the counter were babystart (Focus) personal ovulation kits £1.00
I paid a lot more for my other one I brought to test my bitch, a couple of years ago. They claim: accurate, unlimited tests, use anytime, use anywhere, higienic. It is like a small lipstick, also it has a light to press to see the fern. It is the saliva test, for the hormone level. excellent buy.

Wow, do all Asdas have this I wonder?  I was thinking of experimenting with saliva testing.  Would rush out to Asda to check instantly 'cept been laid up in bed all week :-(  Hope Focus don't make them, I find their DIY stuff rubbish :-)  Oh dear, am tempted to go now ... I need something to play with.

Going to get one of these. How do you do them.

I would do a bit of research first:  will an ovulation test for a woman (which is what Asda Pharmacy will be selling) test correctly on a bitch?

I think there was a thread about this before.....

You might save £10 if it will do the same job - otherwise you've wasted it!

Yep, bitches and women when ovulating apparently produce different salts in saliva, which is what the ferning shows.  Sadly my Asda didn't have any in for a quid, nor for more.  For the £1 it would have been worth a play!  What's more, with a lens, magnifier, light all in one I can think of tons of other uses for such a tester ...
