Does any one know where I can buy ready made dog bows in
quantity, in the U.K. Hope you can help. Jill.

Hi Jill ...what is a dog bow? Sorry if I sound daft , but wasn't sure what you meant

:)

Bows as in Hair ribbons....something that Hudson definitely would not need, Melody ;) I'm laughing at the image of a Mal with a topnot :D :D

Jill, I've been looking online, but so far, no British Companies. I'm sure they're out there somewhere..perhaps someone else will be able to help you out on here. If you have no choice but to Order from a US company, I don't think a bag o'bows wouldn't cost that much at all-- not much weight or bulk to one :)
good luck,
toodles

*BOGGLE* :D

Why not just buy the ones for kids hair then> Are they intrisically differnt somehow?

The ones for dogs are much tinier and cheaper than for kids ;) :D They usually have the ribbon premade + an attached elastic to wrap around the hair.

Sigh--the things ya do for dogdom ;) Actually, it's the best way to keep the hair out of the eyes for long haired breeds. Pepper used to get them everytime she was groomed. Now Samma & Chienne --- nevaaaaar. But Samm used to get a bandana with the US groomer she had. Looked quite snazzy on her too :) :D

Ha ha! I want one for Hugo! If I tied his huge ears back with a pretty pink ribbon he might hear me shouting at him better on walks!!!

No top knots, but wouldn't they look sweet on an Elkhounds tail, might be OK for the Thug too. Think Petcetera do the rubber band things not sure about ribbons though.
Ja:)kie

I am fairly certain Petcetera do them. Failing that, if you are at LKA you can look on a few of the grooming trade stands, they usually have them there.

Petcetera seem to have disappeared off the web for now, but Pets-Pad and Petplanet do them. Petplanet - click on dogs, then scroll down to dog apparel, then other apparel.
I know it's not in this country, but has anyone had a look at Pampets?:D

>>he might hear me shouting at him

You're doing it wrong Jaime .. you need to learn to *throw* your voice so that it hits him squarely behind his left ear :D
