HI can anyone help I'v got a 5 month standard poodle that i want to show and she needs clipping I have no experiance and no one to teach me I took her to somone locally and she put her in pants but the line across her back is,nt straight I would like to do it myself but lack confidence if thier is anyone out there that would be good enough to spare a little time to teach me I would be very grateful I,m willing to travel a sensible distance I live in Leicestershire

have you been back to the breeder. They are usually very willing to help. They want their dogs to do well so "should" help you to learn the basics at least and prob recommend someone else who may be able to help further.

HI Pam thanks for responding the breeder that I had her from does'nt show for the clipping reason she does obediance with her poodles and shows something else Rotties i think Pawla

Sorry to hear of your trouble - I think at 5 months, she should have been in puppy trim anyway for showing? Then you will need to grow her coat really full in front and on top as she gets older I believe. I am in Lincolnshire if I can help.
