i noticed my TT bitch was very slightly limping this morning but it didn't look to bad so carried on to training classes.
she was fine when we started but after lying down waiting her next turn she began lifting her left foot up and walking really badly, at this point i stopped doing anymore and carried her out for a wee before putting her in the car.  now she seems to be very unsteady on her back end to and is scratching everywhere(don't know if this is connected to the limp), anyway i have rung the vets and will be going in a couple of hours.
she is a sleep now and seems fine when lying down although she is quiet for her. i have checked her feet and touched all over her body but she isn't letting on what hurts so will keep my fingers crossed till i see the vets.
she has also eaten breakfast and is drinking so i suppose thats a good sign. as for me i can't eat till i know whats wrong.
these dogs can be such a worry but i wouldn't be without them.

have you found out what it is yet?

well went to the vets and my TT decided she wasn't going to show the vet she was limping. she slept all afternoon till we went and looked very sorry for herself but walked to the car as normal.
the vet gave her a good check over, looking very carefully at her pads and legs and back but couldn't find anything obvious(isn't it always the way).  so she was given an injection to take any inflammation away and we're on rest for a day then a little lead walking as long as she isn't limping. her temperature was normal to.
the vet also checked her skin as she's been scratching but it looked fine, so thats a mystery as well. all in all a nice bill but not a lot of answers.
today is isn't scratching so much as the injection has calmed that down too and isn't limping so hoping it was something and nothing but have been told to take her back if she shows any signs of the problems.
she isn't quite herself as she's sleeping a lot in the day and she only usually settles down come tea time so i know she doesn't feel quite right and will keep a close eye on her.
if it's not the children to worry about it's the dogs, why do we choose these stressful lives, i know because we can't  be without them despite the ups and downs.
thanks for all your posts,it's nice to know other people care.

Typical!!  Don't they just love to make us look fools!!

But I'm glad that nothing awful appears to be going on with her.  :-)
