Have you experienced any packaging problems with Naturediet?  I used to use it before they had massive problems when switching over to their new manufacturing facility.   I would like to try it again, but periodically people still seem to be reporting that some trays are iffy.  Yesterday I was at Pets at Home and looked at Naturediet to buy it again, but one tray in a box looked like it was ready to explode.. although the others looked fine.   Some I'm a bit nervous about giving them a go again, as one of my dogs got an intestinal problem last time they had problems.

I was feeding one of my oldies on it so was buying a case at a time, however the last case I bought didn't smell too good and I have not used it since.

I feed 3 small dogs on it and have never had a problem, not yet anyway -only been using it for about 8 months.

We have fed it on and off for the last 5 years. They had major problems when they changed to their new plant but recently it is normally ok. We do still get the odd case that has to be thrown away though :(

I have been using ND for some time, I do get the odd PKT that is blown and not fit for use. I buy in bulk, number of failed PKTs/order are small but occur regularly. Afriend experiences similar issues and has contacted the company who simply sent a letter saying quality control was very strict and only top quality / perfcat products left the factory !! Clearly there IS an issue but on balance I like the product so I live with the odd blown PKT.

Thanks everyone, on balance I think I will stick with another product.  I do like the ingredients in Naturediet as well, but they do seem to have continuing issues with their packaging.  Never had them before they changed plants, such a shame really.

I have been using Nature Diet for two years now, only ever had 2 pkts that were 'blown'. I buy 2 cases a month. The only problem I have found is that with some batches you can't open the tray by pulling the cover off - seems too stuck down!! so have to resort to a knife! ;)

I use natures menu for my two poodles and they look great on it, I have to order off the internet as one of the dogs only likes the tins and not the pouches which are readily available in the shops whereas the tins are not. I get round this by bulk buying so that I don't have to keep paying delivery charges from Berriewoods.

I've used ND alot too with my dogs for years and from memory have had 1 packet thats been abit suspect!

I also use Forthglade and this is another food similar to ND and they do have quite a few different flavours in their ranges.:)  The lids are easier to get off too ;)

Briedog I am just about to start my 9week old GR on nature diet.
I have always fed it mixed with kibble to my older goldens....but will it be enough on its own with out the kibble for the pup...as the kibble has been giving her upset tummys. i gave her some mixed with a scambled egg tonight to try to settle her tum a bit.
I would like to leave out the kibble for a while then return when she is slightly older....will there be enough in the nature diet to have alone for a while please. Thought you may be able to help me here.
Thanks in advance.

my old girl likes it. I've always had to use a knife to open the packet & have iffy packets more often than I would like.
