Going to see Rocky Horror on Friday in Milton Keynes, very excited. Still working on my outfit though! Are there any more followers out there?! (This will be our 5th time going!)

Love it! I saw it three times back in about 1979, when it was on at the King's Road, Chelsea. Terrific entertainment! :-)

Never seen it live, have the video, big fan of the music though.
If you do ever get the chance to see it - GO! Its such a good night out and when we have been, it seems at least 80% of the audience dresses up. Hilarious outfits and people make such an effort.
I love going to see the live rocky shows i usually go as magenta the maid this year me and my sister have managed to talk my parents into coming with us but i dont think were going to be able to talk my dad into dressing up as frank!!!! maybe eddie?

Me, me, I was actually listening to the CD in the car this morning!!! I'm going twice when it comes to Glasgow, once with the girls and once with hubby and our best friends. My friends in the middle of painting a leather biker's jacket for me. She's put the Rocky Horror writing on top and the lips below. It looks great. I'll wear that and, possibly, a basque with jeans probably. Got my feather boa and pearl necklace on standby.
I've no idea how many times I've seen it over the years. Have seen some great Franks (including Anthony Head and Jason Donovan) and Narrators (Nicholas Parsons has got to be one of the best). It's always exciting to see who's playing what part each time it tours.
Have a fab time.

Me too. Nicholas Parsons in stilettos and fishnet stockings was very odd indeed!

Hi Sarah
Have fun tomorrow night. Can you let me know what colour they wear in the floorshow? I can't remember if it was red last time. I'm trying to decide what colour of feather boa to buy (have seen a nice black and silver but don't know if i should go with the tour colours).
Thanks
Simone :)
Ok Simone, will do! Its usually red, I think but black and silver sounds very jazzy. Methinks its going to be freezing cold tommorrow night, better take a big coat to wear until we get to the theatre. One of the best narrators I saw was Neil Hamilton (I thinks thats his name! married to famous Mrs Hamilton!! Having a mind block tonight and can't remember her name!!) There are some fab photos on the RH website. x

Ooooh I wish I was going tonight! What are you wearing?
Rona Cameron did it here when Neil Hamilton did it elsewhere. She was better than I thought she'd be, but I do think it's a man's role to be honest. Lionel Blair played the part well. I thought he was going to be too wooden to do it justice, but he played it well and handled the audience participation well.
Roxy's named after the RH, she's have been Rocky if she'd been a boy.
Sorry for the delay in reply, had a manic weekend. Fri was a late night and I can't cope with lack of sleep these days!! Had a FAB time at RH. I would say 90% of audience was dressed up and it was a very lively crowd! Excellent performances, Frank was brilliant (David Bedella) and has a super strong, husky singing voice. Colombia was the best I have seen yet, as was Magenta. The only dissapointment was Riff Raff who was just too chunky and spoke far too fast but apart from that great!! Nearly lost my voice singing!
Narrator was Stephen (I think) Pemberton from Leauge of Gentlemen, so quite dark and many referances to L O G. There were some famous drag queens from the RH fan club who looked wonderful, must have taken hours on the makeup. The couple who we went with really enjoyed it too (RH virgins) and their outfits looked great. Have now booked to go in Feb to Leicester. Was hoping to see it in Nov at Windsor but OH working. Been singing ever since!!!

I don't think I recognised the actress playing Janet. Quite disappointed as it's usually someone significant. Doesn't detract from the whole Rocky experience though!
What did you wear?
Ohhhh I'm so excited now!!!
Well! I usually go as Magenta so it was a maid oufit with a pair of killer (literally!) heels that almost crippled me and I bruised feet for 2 days afterwards! I backcombed my hair so it was pretty wild and dark makeup. There were several very buff Rockys with just gold underpants so great views all round really!!
The floorshow colours were red & black.
