i need to buy a bowl stand for my deerhound, i can only find one up to 16 inch high, this doesn't seem tall enough to me? anyone got any ideas? know where i could get a taller one?

Wasn't there something about these feeders increasing the risk of bloat? It's not something I am familiar with though so hopefully other board members will be more knowledgeable :)

Deerhounds are so beautiful :)

There is a handy measuring guide here

You can buy basic frame feeders from Luxway up to 21" tall

HTH :)

there was a study by purdue however there has been conflicting studies all along. i use one and it helps them as they do not need to lean down too far and cause a strain on their back.

sam gave me a really good tip of using kitchen bin witha bowl in. cheap and great height.

That's true. We use them for young ones as it seems to keep them up on their pasterns better at a time when they are not having a great deal of exercise.
