Well, I was going to be modest about it, but since Kay insists...
Melvin (6.5 months) got 2nd in MPD and 4th in PD today :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D
He showed himself off nicely, despite my truly dreadful handling skills, and thoroughly enjoyed himself!!
Ok... big-headed brag over!!!
Clare

Congratulations Clare - fab news and well done Melvin, a great start to your career :-) :-)

Don't do what i did and leave it to the last minute. Choose a lovely suite, be it trouser or skirt one which complements the colouring of your dog. So if you have a light or white dog i would go for black or dark coloured suit, very easy to get.
Some great sales on between now and Xmas..
You got a yellow Lab?

Thanks everyone for the congratulations :-D
Melvin is a black Lab (the one in the piccie is Dexter, I don't show him), which will make suit colour all the more complicated.... what do you think of green or purple!? Don't really think I'm a beige, grey or white kind of person...<runs off to check the M&S website, surely per una is the way to go>

Purple, Purple Purple, :-)

Be careful with green, i have a mainly black dog and the carpet at Crufts is also green.
Purple is a good colour, as is pink, red etc.. Colour's in winter can be tough to get, so would be on the look out now.
I have a brown mottled suit with purple bits in it from Next, wearing a purple top underneath. Its what i wore last year, but every time i wear it i don't have any luck, so may rethink the idea of wearing it next year
> Purple, Purple Purple,
I'm guessing (Don't know how????? ;-)) but Kay thinks purple may be a good colour?
