Hi guys

Ive been told by my dr that i need to get my bmi down from 32 to 25 before he will allow me to have an operation i want, although im classed as obesie I wouldnt say i looked huge.  I asked for a second opinion from my friend who is a GP and said although on paper im classed as obise she wouldnt class me as that from my frame and build.

I did go back and speak to my own GP who said until I lost the wait he would not refer me.

I was looking for a diet to do and wondered if anyone has do anything sucessful.  Im the type of person who needs to follow a set diet, I  have do atikins before and stuck to it really welll as i knew what to eat and why, im no good at weight watchers etc as its to board and find myself jsut getting things for ease so a set diet plan would be the best i think.

Any ideas?

Ive done weight watchers and struggled sticking to weighing food all the time. I have a (very) healthy appetite and can eat loads so my mum showed me slimming world. You can eat as much pasta/potatoes/rice as you like and 4oz of meat or as much meat and 4oz of carbs. I tend to live on pasta & sauce, jacket potatos and rice at the minute and I love it! I find it really easy to do. Its very similar to atkins just not as unhealthy with regards to all the fat you eat. :-)

When I want to lose weight I don't eat carbs after 5 pm.  You can eat what you want during the day (if you leave out sweets and choc you will lose weight faster).  A hearty breakfast, big lunch and small non carb meal for dinner and you will lose weight.  This is also far healthier because you are not eliminating food groups, don't need to weigh things and don't have to pay diet companies a fortune!  Try it and you will be amazed at how easy it is.

Tesco diets is very good - www.tescodiets.com

I've been on them all, Weight Watchers, Slimming World, you name it, but this seems to work the best for me.
