Hi, am interested to know if anyone has had their dog's semen evaluated for fertility, and if so who did you use and what sort of costs were involved. Thanks

I have had Ollies done.. I used Keith from Fit and Fertile, who was fantastic.. He let me see them too.. what a wonderful experience watching millions of little squiglies lol.. cost was £50, and that included him travelling around 30miles to a friends house down in Bolton.. and bringing all his equipment.. he evaluates the sperm there and then, with his wonderful little machines.. He is based in Preston
PM me for his phone no... not sure if I am allowed to put in on the forum..

Had my boy's semen evaluated but that was because I wanted to store it (he was 11 & very fertile ;-)) Because it involved the storage costs etc. can't tell you off the top of my head how much just the evaluation cost. think it was around £120 (but as I say that probably included the first year of storage)
Have you found someone that does it in your area? If not, I'm sure someone on here will be able to help.

As I live in Bristol would be interested as may want a repro expert if I import chilled semen in the future.
Hi, thanks for further replies. Kayc has kindly put me in touch with someone in Preston ... £46 for evaluation only.

Hi yes we have also used Keith (fit and fertile) as has been said he is fantastic, tested our new German import male a few months ago.
