How do I stop the puppy paddling in her water bowl? She's soaking herself and the floor, great fun for her, not for me.
Thanks

A lot of dogs do this. I think that the only way to try to stop it is to raise the bowl off the ground. A stand of some sort that will hold the bowl at head height so that she can't play in it.

My aussie dose this and I ended up putting the bowl outside on a stand and he now asked if he wants a drink if the door is not left open but he still managed to put a foot in it. He dosen't do it so much now the weather is getting cooler. I have a picture of him as a young puppy managing to get both feet in the bowl even on a stand. I think it is like other things some do it and some don't.

All of my crowd did this as pups ... perfectly normal :-)  However, as you say, can get a bit annoying constantly mopping up sploshes.  I did as others have suggested, borrowed a raised bowl holder from a friend - sorted it and was dispensed with by 6-8 months of age!
