Hi ,
im looking for a multi pet policy, can anyone reccommend a company, also has anyone got feedback on this firm pet-insurance.co.uk.
Thanks

m/s sainburys pinncels all give discount other mulit dogs, the first dog no discount

I believe pet.insurance.co.uk is linked to E & L, I am 98% positive it is as I did take out policy with them and found out the under writters was E & L, so I cancelled the policy, due to having problems with E & L insurance in the past.

I have just insured my puppy with petplan and got a discount on my existing policy for my collie too. Also got extra free month for the puppy so thats me had the puppy since July til Oct with free insurance .

Were with Direct Line, and have 4 dogs insured with them, and get a 20% discount after the 2nd animal we insure with them.

thanks , thats what i wondered about them ive heard a few horror stories about E&L, i will try the other ones you all mentioned.
i got a discount with my 3 from animal friendly insurance.make sure you do it over the phone and its the premium plans that are lifetime cover

You are lucky you got a discount with Petplan, they wouldn't give me a discount for a second dog and were charging almost double the cost for my pup who hadn't even had an issues or vets treatment!!
I think they are going to be breed specific there with discounts..
I think someone on here mentioned the NFU were really good.
I have found that the KC are fab(my pup is with them), again not sure if they do multi dog discounts, but worth looking into.

I would steer away from pet-insurance.co.uk personally as they are actually E & L who have a terrible reputation. I have found Petguard very competitive and you can tailor your policy to suit you (Annual or lifetime, cover from £1000-£7500, addtl benefits etc). They do a 5% discount for more than one pet. I have changed a number of my policies to them but fortunately haven't had a claim yet so don't know what they are like about settling.
Wags is insured with Kennel Club Health Plan. Vets fees cover is £10,000 per condition for life ( assuming you have kept cover ) sadly we have had to make many claims and the service is great. I would very highly reccommend.

I have 5 gsds insured with Tesco for £80 per month. There was a discount for multipets plus a discount for first year. Mind you, this is a vets fees only policy as I wasn't interested in paying for the other stuff such as third party liability, etc.
> third party liability
That is the bit we should all have and it's a devils own job to find a 3rd party only policy.
There is no way I could afford to insure five dogs. It's put the money aside in case one needs it.

I have 6 dogs insured with healthy pets so yes they do do a multi pet. It costs me £60 a month. I have also had a claim and they pay the vets direct you just pay the excess of £60.
