Hi all in April my bitch had her first litter of puppies (and mine) I got myself an affix and with lots of help selected a bitch puppy to keep to show.  Saturday was our big day it was our breed clubs national show and they have a class for "babys" 3-6 months.  I decided to enter my girl, Megan, to give her and me a bit of experience.  She was in a class of 17 babies, I was the only one who freestood my girl - I didn't want to fiddle with her legs and wanted her to relax and wag her tail!  To my surprise and delight she was placed 2nd in her class and wagged her tail throughout the judging, which can take a long time in France, all dogs receive a written critique, although I did take her out of the ring while the judge saw the other pups as it was so hot.  How proud am I!!!  I was so pleased that she did well but more importantly it was wonderful experience for her and she took it all in her stride and was happy and relaxed for the whole of the day!  Well done Megan.
