No one seems to of posted any of their achievements from this show, so starting a thread to congratulate all those who did well, whether it was placings or something else which went well for them!!

Lol this was our 2nd show EVER! we had 4 in MPD and came 4th and 5 in PD and came 5th. Which actually i'm really pleased with as wasn't expecting a placing at all but because entries were low we got one, lol! That said i'm pleased with my boy because he was relatively well behaved and thats really why we go to the shows, just to try to get used to it and calm down! x

We had 3rd in PD and 3rd in junior, very proud ;)

Well done :) ;)

Taking this a liuttle away from the dogs..............watching the junior handling.......the class for terriers 12-16yr olds.
It was so disappointing for the children, 22 walked around the ring with their dogs, put them on the table and brought them down, they then were asked to do a triangle..no questions....nothing at all of what I imagine they had all trained and practised for.
Judge then took out 5 walked them around once more and changed 1 position from how he brouhgt them out.
It seems such a shame for them all (yes my daughter was one).
The children so deserve more respect for their craft. They all put so much in and at this level should be allowed to show what they can do

Karen :(

Well my brag is for my Friend Bryony who had pups from her first ever litter at the show.  She was my first ever puppy buyer.  I bred her pups Mums sire who she owns, also the Mums Dams sire was imported by me with three friends, and the Sire of the pups is half brother to my Jozi, so I felt very involved with this litter, and hubby and I helped with the whelping.

The dog puppy won puppy and Junior and her bitch puppy bitch and Best Puppy.  She was on cloud 9.

My Inka won Junior bitch and was second to the bitch CC winner in Limit.

Not to be forgotten I bred both Veteran winners one of whom was the above mentioned puppy granddad.  Both placed in the Veteran stakes, he was 4th and she fifth.

YEY well done everyone. My youngster was at his first ever Ch show and we got 3rd in PD, so qualified!!! His brother got 2nd PD and his sister got 1st PB and BPIB. The breeder also got RBCC with their half sister.

On another note my older boy his breeder got 1st limit dog with the brother and 2nd open bitch with the mum..So good day for all.

Was very pleased for our BOB and RDCC both owned by the same lady and 2 beautiful dogs.

Well done Sue!

My numpty boy has finally received his brain upgrade & let a male judge examine him.  this is a huuuuuge achievement for the dog that would spin constantly to see where a male steward was in the ring, let alone a male judge. :-D

Well done to everyone on their fantastic results :)

I would like to say how proud I am of both my daughters in the Junior Handling.  Whilst both were unplaced they both did a sterling job - Jess and Connor as always superstars (well in my eyes LOL) and Emily and Max put their best performance ever with Max pulling out the stops for her at last !  (helped by me being far from ringside!)  Both were my winners and to see the smiles on your faces coming out the ring made me so proud.

Well done all the unplaced handlers - big classes and you all did great to get there :)

It was a great day out for all of us and I know my girls certainly enjoyed the day immensely and already hope to be there next year!

Was lovely to see two of their friends placed too :)

Hard work, perseverence & incredible amount of support from his breeder & all my doggy friends.  This dog as been to everywhere imaginable - markets/bus stations/schools/agility shows/breed shows/you name it, we've probably taken a trip there.  Glad I stuck with it because I know in 2 years time (when he is fully mature in body & mind) he's going to be a stonking dog.

Maddog,

So glad he is on the up with men, I do recall him being gone over by someone we grabbed in our breed a while back at Ardingly. They are funny creatures sometimes when they decide not to like a gender for no reason at all.

Well done Jess and Emily on your fab handling in the ring, you've made your mum very proud - I won't be there on Sun(ardingly), even though entered my shifts have changed and not able to get out of working due to Labour party conference.. Grrr. Good luck there..

Great results from all those who went, even if it meant that their dogs did all that they could do in the ring, that is all we can ask of any dog..

Well done everyone!  We had a strange day (but good still) - 3rd in puppy and then 1st in junior!  Happy enough with that!  Pulled out for last 7 in puppy stakes, but no place in the end - would've been nice...
