Ok, well me and my friend found a kitten last night. We both asked our parents could we keep her but the answers were both no. :(

We couldn't leave her out on the streets cos there are loads of stray dogs and she is just so small. She stayed the night in my insulated shed but obviously she can't stay there forever!!!!! Please help!!!!!!

put up notices in the vets/petshops/local paper, if no one clailms kitten try cat protection.

Maybe try your local rehoming centre.

I would suggest you make enquiries at the  houses near to where you found the kitten. A small kitten will not have wandered far.
Obviously, don't take it with you, but if anyone says "yes, we lost a kitten" make sure they can describe it. Or put up notices around the area or in a local shop window.

Take it to your local vets to be scanned, it may be microchipped.

Thanks everyone for their help, especially Cornish R. We went to the house nearest to where we found her and asked the people were they missing a kitty. Apparently someone had just dropped it by their house so when I told my mam that she said I could keep her!!!!! Yay! :D :D
