I have one, which I bought several years ago as we had a bitch who was very difficult to get in whelp due to very erratic seasons. I did not realise when I got it that rather than giving a straight forward ready or not type reading the system entails taking daily readings over an extended period (from memory at least 2 weeks) to give you a graph which will give you the indication of the peaks in the readings which denote ovulation. In our case the bitch produced a lovely litter, and the Draminski was used a year later for her 3rd and last litter. However, it was so fiddly to use that never bothered to try it on any of the other bitches (although none were really problematical). I did lend it to a friend with French Bulldogs and they also acheived pregnancy with her. So 3 uses and 3 pregnancies, which is an excellent success rate I suppose, but it has since sat in a cupboard for 5 or 6 years now without being used again. Went to a fertility a couple of years back with Keith Shea and he came out very strongly against them, but this could just be a commercial competitiveness thing.
I suppose, looking at it objectively, if we ever had a bitch with very erratic seasons or repeated problems getting in whelp I would use it again as it resulted in lovely litters, but could not say definitively if we were just lucky or the Draminski was spot on.
