Need some help on a holiday please!

Looking to go to maybe cyprus at the end of october and would like to know roughly what temps to expect, and suggestion of good 4/5 star hotel in quiet beach location but close to some bars and shops.

Paphos is a nice area...I'v been there about 7 times and it never gets boring....we normally hire a villa though but there is some really nice hotels on the main street. I've been to Cyprus in November and temp was still warm enough for summer wear but would get chilly on nights and had 1 night of rain. Thing with October in Cyprus is its out of season there so most of the bars in the main strip wont be open.

thanks for that, we thought the bars might still be open but its obviously like parts of spain where things all close up.

Tenerife is good for a winter holiday. I have been there in December and in February and the weather was hot and sunny by day and the evenings were warm enough to wear strappy tops etc.
