I have been a little concerned about our chi over the last couple of days. She cant be bothered to get up and is spending nearly all day in her bed. She is eating and has come out for a walk and seemed fine.Its jsut when she is at home she retires back to bed even if you talk to her
I have just noticed that she seems to be licking her bits rather alot and hacve dad her with a tissue. There could possibly be atrace of blood Her last season (1st 1) was in February so she is due is this sort of behaviour possibly caused by a season or should I be looking for something else

Bless.....they do have funny moods with seasons coming in... if she is eating, drinking, not lethargic as such, playing a bit  and hasnt got a temperature then I would keep an eye on her but not be too concerned but she sounds like a typical moody girl beginning her season to me.

if you are concerned with the unusaul behaviour a visit to the vet would be the best option but remember to keep her in the car or carry her so that she doesnt cause to much of a problem with the boys  in the surgery.!

Thanks for thatI think I will watch her for a day or 2 must say have also noticed she seems a bit grumpy with our gsd when he wants play which is unusual ( fortunately he is castrated and doesn't show any particular interest in the girlies!)

You ought to be in my house...... sad pathetic ladies with the 'vapours' all over the place. Cant be bothered to eat, laying around all day and with a soppy looks on their faces...meanwhile the boys......well lets not talk about the boys :-(
