Managed to enter one of my dogs when my computer chucked me out.  Phoned at 12.01 and Higham's won't accept the other dogs entry for Darlington, wish I hadn't bothered now as I don't want to go with one breed and not the other!!

Totally fed-up!!

bit mean of them I think, try appealing to thier kind hearts ...LOL

send it by post, a friend recently sent a entry 3 weeks after closing it was accepted

The way the woman was on the phone I very much doubt that she would sadly.  Oh well, got my Spanish in, but not my mum's Pom so I'll be well and truly in the doghouse now!

Shame on you - doghouse?! you're not going to get fed this weekend :-O

I wouldn't mind but computer entry is still so hit & miss.  I still prefer to send a paper entry as I never trust things not to get lost in the ether.

Yeah, better keep quiet until after my Sunday tea, he, he :)

Oh what a shame they have been usually very good with accepting late entries when I have had computer problems - maybe they were having an off day or got a different person to normal?

I would call back again and ask, you never know?? Someone may take pity on you

Did you sort this out?  I suddenly realised that I hadn't entered Driffield which was supposed to close on line at 12 today, just been online and entered and had confirmation email so all seems OK, fingers crossed!

Had an e-mail this morning to phone them to sort the entry out.  Phoned and told that the secretary of the show instisted in no uncertain terms that no entries were to be accepted at all so nope didn't get her in.  Also won't get my money back for getting two parking tickets, I could but I would have to pay a £5.00 charge!!  Wouldn't mind but everywhere else the disabled park free so bit disgusting that they've now got £6.00 of me.

Remember years ago having problems with this show, think that this will be the last time that I enter there!

Shoot, forgot all about Driffield!!!
- By perrodeagua [gb] Date 17.08.09 16:10 UTC
Yeah, just entered Driffield myself!  Have a feeling that entry had been extended for a couple of days.  Still annoyed re. carparking prices, £4.00 at Driffield, still feel that those who are disabled shouldn't have to pay and think it's extortionate anyway with the prices we have to play for entry these days.

Just entered Driffield too....says they are accepting entries till the 21st!
- By Henri3402 [gb] Date 18.08.09 13:37 UTC
Thanks very much for saying that Driffield had extended the closing date till 21st, I've just entered.

- By newf3 [gb] Date 18.08.09 15:46 UTC
