how very worrying, so glad Bess was eventually found and making a good recovery. I hope they get to the bottom of this and find out who was responsible for the trap :(

typical bad reporting :( :( in one part they say a fox snare and in another a cage trap!! They need to make up their minds which!! We abide by the law and check all our cage traps twice a day....and on the ocassions we put wires out we check them twice a day. However I know a responsible person who set a cage trap legally on their own land and had it stolen....one has to asssume if someone can steal a cage trap then theres little chance of it being set and checked in the legal fashion either!!! No doubt it will set the antis off into spasms of "ban the evil traps" media hype as usual. Glad the dog was OK!
