I have a 9 month old cocker and can't figure out what is wrong with her.  She has several problems, paw chewing, chocking type cough once in a while, her anal glads fill up offen, watery eyes, sneezing every now and then.  I changed her to all natural food.  I think she may have allergies.  The vet put her on steriods but it isnt working.  She seems to be getting worse not better.  Should I consider the allergy test?  She also vomits at least once a day.

Her feet must be in contact with something that is clearly not agreeing with her.   She may be having grass problems.  There are a host of things.  It could be food.

What have you tried in the way of elimination process?

The doctors and I have tried shampoos, pills, foot soaks, I put her on science diet, no dyes.  She is very active and doesn't seem sick but scratches and chews all the time.  Her skin is fine.  No beef or cheese, she eats her food only.  I looked on the internet and found that it could be a yeast infection in her stomack.  I am not sure I trust that. I think they are just trying to sell their product.  I dopped her off this morning for allergy test.  I hope This settles her problem. I feel sorry for her.

science diet, That could be your problem.

Let us know what the results say but I would stick her on a beef free diet.   Wafcol Salmon and Potato or something similar.

It's the all natural and what she was eating when I got her.  She wastn't chewing her feet until I moved into a new house.  Maybe the carpet or grass.  Nothing in the back yard but grass.  I ask the builder if they treated the carpet and yard but got no reponse.

I am waiting on the test results from the vet.  Mean while I have noticed earwicks in the carpet around the house.  I haven't used any pest control because I'm not sure whats wrong with her yet and don't want to make matters worse.  If it is the treatment on the carpet what would remove it?  Steam clean with water only?  She keeps her nose down in the carpet but, I think she is looking for the earwicks.  Could it be the earwicks?  I dont know much about them and it they are harmful to pets?  Does anyone else know.
