I have a wedding to go to next sat and i would love to go but im ot sure if i can travel with the puppies. They will be 3 and a half weeks and its a 2 and a half hour journey. Can anyne give me advice? I was planning putting them down with the others on Wed so hopefully by Friday they will be used to my dogs by then and will be ok travelliing with them? what do u think?

At that age, I would not be going anywhere -certainly not with the pups, but not without either. When you have young puppies you simply have to put life on hold.
I would not take pups anywhere and would only go to a function such as a wedding if it were very close by and i could get a reliable puppy sitter that the mum knew and was happy with. I would then pop back frequently to check them all.
I would neither put my pups back into the household or take them on a 2 1/2 hours car journey at 3 weeks old. And were you thinking of leaving them in the car or risk infection my putting them in another place with prying eyes?
At 3 weeks I'd still be sleeping with them and not leaving them unattended at all...........

thanks for advice - i will give wedding a miss then! I posted on another post about putting the pups down stairs in a pen and every one said 3 weeks! They are in my room at moment and I have hardly left my room uless my husband is around - and we swap.
I'm afraid i'm in agreement with everybody else.So many reasons, stress on bitch, risk of infection, the list is endless.I think your pups are far more important than a wedding.

With 3.5week old pups at homes.. I wouldn't be going to the wedding, let alone taking pups.. :-O

I am expecting a litter of pups very soon and I plan to be going no where unless my partner is around to puppy sit. Good job I have a plentiful supply of books and DVD's!!!!

I wouldn't take them anywhere at this age, not worth upsetting mum by moving her babies, plus you risk bringing infection in while their immune systems are still developing.
