Hi all

Can anyone recommend a decent photo imaging programme for Windows Vista please around the £50 mark?

I have Paint Shop Pro X2 but this will not install on my pc (it's a known problem with Vista even though its sold as being Vista friendly!!)  Numerous calls and emails to support has got me nowhere so the time is right for a new one.  I've used Paint Shop Pro for years so don't know which to go for next.

Thanks ;-)

Will it not install at all? All my old photo editing programmes (the oldest of which is from 1996) run fine on Vista. I just right click on the programme icon and chose "Run in Windows XP compatibility mode".

I use Gimp with Windows Vista - it's a free download and once you've sussed it out I find that it is a bit better than Paint Shop.

Thats strange as I use Paint shop pro 8 with Vista you would think the more uptodate version would definitely be compatible.

Hiya & thanks everyone :-)

No it will not install at all, at last PSP have emailed me a more thorough reply and it's to do with a dll file that needs disabling when you use PSP X2 and Norton 360 Virus software.  Might try the solution first methinks now, LOL  I have it installed on my old laptop with Vista (but not Norton 360) and it works ok it's the laptop thats on it's last legs, LOL
