My dog has just been given these, but now I am too scared to start them. I looked them up on the internet and it seems all horror stories of dogs dying Rapidly when starting them.

We have several animals at work who are on this drug; one's been on it for a year and it's made a huge improvemnt to his mobility.

Thanks thats made me feel a bit better.  I think I will wait and start her on it tomorrow morning though as I have to go and get the cars dreaded MOT done in a minute and I don't want her to have a reaction from it and I am not here.

My Goldie has been on them for a couple of months now, and I haven't had any problems.

Yes your right JJ.  I have just bitten the bullet and started her on them as she is still limping about.
Pedlee thanks for the positive experience

My collie has been on Previcox for just over a year, no problems at all its giving her a new lease of life!

My Old girl Gemma went onto them after Rimadyl stopped being effective after years. She did very well on them for the final few months of her life.
She died of something totally unconnected to Previcox.

Our Noof collapsed and nearly died on Prevocoxx - his brother did die.     Suits some dogs, but obviously not all.

Oh my goodness, i've never heard of that before. All the dogs in our surgery have done well on previcox, we use it all the time.

Our pyrenees has been on it on and off for a year, and full time on it for the last month and is doing very well on it.
