Well apparantly my girl qualified for crufts last time she went out. Only just found out today from a post then had to confirm it with a breeder i got my boy from. Silly me for not knowing.

ROFLMAO we all have done that at sometime-no one tells you these things, it would be impossible(& very costly)for the KC to notify everyone whose dog qualified for Crufts & as we know the KC don't splash the cash around ! :-D

Do I have to involve my breeder for entering Crufts? What do I have to do?
My girl has had 2 seconds and a third at champ shows.
Thanks

You enter Crufts as you would any other show the only difference being that you have to state on the entry what place in which class at which show you qualifed so that would be the first show you gained a qualifying place at.

Assuming your girl's placings are in qualifying classes (not all are) then when the schedules are available you enter just like any other show, except there's a space on the entry form for you to put the details of the class/es and show/s where she qualified.

ditto what the others have written

Just to add the champ.show placings that qualify for Crufts also have to have been at shows where CCs were on offer for the breed, if it is a breed that ever has CCs available.

Well done!!! First time I qualified Henry I had to whisper to the person who'd won the class as I wasn't quite sure whether I'd qualified him or not! What a nice surprise for you! :-)

Well done Mahonc!! It all sounds very complicated, no wonder you didn't know. I am a complete novice  and have only attended one show as a spectator, still trying to get my head around how it all works.
