I am not sure if i am posting this in the correct place so apologies in advance if i have posted in wrong area.
my 2 bitches were due to have a seaon in March 09 neither came in and still no sign of a season.
My oldest bitch who thinks she is the leader of our pack had a season 4 months ago - the vet seems to think that my oldest bitch being so dominant etc  and has high hormone levels this is suppressing my other 2 bitches hormone levels and therfore having no seasons.
I have had a failed mating in sept 08 from one of my bitches that has not had a seaosn since.
can any one3 give me there thoughts on this as i have a wating list from puppies from this planned litter and have had to let alot of people down
I was thinking of trying herbal routes maybe. i am keeping my eldest bitch who is having the seasons as seperate from the others as much as possible to try and help and calm the others down
The 2 bitches who have missed the season  have both had seasons before and are mother and daughter and do not seem to tollerate my other bitch - so keeping them all apart.
i would be grateful form any help or ideas.
Many thanks

It might be an idea to have a word with your vet , if memory serves me they can use a hormone to bring a bitch into season , dont know about conception prospects  but they would tell you about it (if its still on the market)

If your eldest bitch had a season about 4 months ago, I would reckon that her next season will bring the other two in.  But obviously not if they're kept seperate.

My bitches are always bringing each other in season.  It's a perfectly natural thing to happen.
