hi, would someone be able to give me any pointers on teaching my mini dachshund to stack on the table,i have been to a few ring craft classes(she didnt come as her jabs hadnt finished) but most of them a shut through august and i wanted to practise with her,i do have an idea on what position to put her in but she wriggles alot!

The best tip is to practise with a table set up in front of a mirror, that way you get to see exactly what the judge sees.
Stand your dog towards the front edge of the table (you can immediately see if the front feet are lined up correctly), the front legs should fall directly under the shoulder line, 'NOT' pushed forward so that they appear to be at an angle. The rear feet should be placed so that the lower section of the leg is 'Vertical' the ideal width apart being the same as the depth from the hock joint to the ground. Where are you based? someone mat know of a class near you that does not close for the summer, many of us stay open throughout the year. GOOD LUCK

thank you i didnt think of the mirror ill try that,i am in bawtry nr doncaster i have found another class that starts on the 5th august im going to check that out,thanxs for the you tube link too
