Hi does anyone with teenage kids have an opinion on these?

My son wants one and I wanted to get a view before deciding.  I'm tempted to get a secondhand one to see if he really likes/wants/needs it.  When I looked on eBay most of the adverts say hardly used, unwanted gift etc so I'm curious to see if they are all they're cracked up to be...

He doesn't have a chair in his room for watching TV so he'll use it for that too I expect.

Thanks for any advice :)

my boys wanted one of these, and my husband too! If you have a pc world store near you they may have on on display that you can try out as it is all wired up to a game console, imo i would not buy one but then i am not into that sort of thing! :) now give me a chair that has a print of my breed on it ! Now thats what i am talking about! :)

my son bought one and used quite a lot to start with then just used as a chair and not its in the wardrobe!

quite heavy to manouvre when your hoovering but it did fold over on itself so not huge. I found that i could hear the sound coming through the ceiling when we were down stairs as it seemed to vibrate through the floor.

Its a teenage thing that they have to try i suppose but i dont think worth it but you cant always stop them especially if they're paying for it themselves. Much rather the money be wasted on something like that than alcohol and cigarettes.

Father Christmas brought one for my son last Xmas and it is currently folded up in the corner , and i swear very loudly every time i need to lift it out to hoover as it is very heavy .
The difference is that my son didn't ask for it whereas your son has asked for one so will probably use it more .
Ours is wireless and lights up so looks good in the dark !
