we were scanned at 3 puppies but by the look of mrs rolly poly she is carrying more, the milk is all in and flowing freely, she is eating but not alot,  she has no discharge, but is doing alot of moaning and groaning, any ideas?

Could she be further along than you think? One of mine had a litter of 7 one week early but had no milk till they were born. Scans are notoriously inaccurate when it comes to numbers so don't be surprised if there are more! Good luck with your litter.

could your dates be wrong?
take her tothe vets for 'anti natal ' check up , i do with mine around 7/8 week . he checks her over  makes sure all going well and also does a scan .  he will give you an idea as to them being ready to be born ....
the moaning and groaning will be her feeling full and uncomfy , you will also notice a fair amount of discharge just before they are due ,  milk can come in early if its not her first litter .could also feed her anything that will temp her , but nothing salty at all .. try a pack of cocktail sausage from asda , she will be sat at the oven door as they are cooking , its one thing my girl will never refuse .

Good luck xx

took her to vets last night said he could not feel pups as she has excessive fluid and her stomach is all fluid will that be a problem for her?,said the milk was not a problem and not to worry,no discharge and she is eating  pc puppy food,

i wouldnt of thought so, just be careful mwith her diet , if u give her any addtional food make so it doesnt contain salt .
and just use your knowledge of your girl.  the babies have still alot of growing to do so she is likely to get much bigger in the next week or so.
make life as easy as possible for her , my girl loved to lie on a bean bag this time, it enabled her to get some much needed sleep.

I would be prepared in case she has them early though, they can be born from 8 weeks onwards.
