We are just starting the final week so I am gathering together everyting I will need for the birth. below is a list. Have I forgotten anything?
newspaper
vetbed
old towels
watch
pen & paper
camera
scissors
scales
id collars
flask of hot water & coffee (for me)
Book of the bitch
Antiseptic wipes and handwash
Cordless phone and mobile with vets phone number programmed on speed dial
Car full of fuel and parked facing out for quick getaway in emergency

Whats life aid? tried ding a search but didn't find anything that seemed relevant. Is it the same as Dopram?

Good idea about the torch. Never though of that. The coffee is for celebrating. I lead a very quiet life!

reading the BOTB at every opportunity. I can't get into books at the moment. Too much on my mind. I wasn't this worried and excited when my grandson was born last year!

Unfortunately, Hyperdrug don't have the Life Aid in stock ready to send out - we ordered some two weeks ago and it still hasn't been shipped out.

I always have colustrum replacement powder and replacement milk just incase.

Hot water bottle.

Bin liners or plastic bin so you can dispose of messy paper etc in between puppies.

A prepared little box for the puppies to be placed in during the birth to keep them from being injured while mum gets on with the delivery.
