Where to start?!

My MIL gave me some j-cloths one year, but I've had even worse presents than that. I dread being given presents.

my gran bless her used to shop at markets all year round and buy cheap chocolate that was out of date by christmas and going white, not only that she'd wrap things up and forget o name them so you never know what you'd get.
i got foot spray one year, for smelly feet. how suttle is that but what was worst when i unwrapped it she said it was for my dad.
we all had to giggle at that one.

GREAT Idea i was just thinking the same , i posted mine on the other thread but heres my worst pressie ,

Deep fat fryer, im not a chip lover either,

bar butler holds six bottles, im not a big drinker and i would never have six bottles of spirits in the house at anyone time so this gift has not even come out of the box yet,

I was given some stock cubes one year after my daughter had been to the food show (it was meant as a joke though).  Oh and another year she gave me a Harrods plastic bag as I had said I would like something from Harrods

OH was working part time in a petrol station. One Christmas he came home with a dead bunch of flowers that they were going to throw out. I thought myself very lucky though, it was the only year he has ever given me anything.

> My MIL gave me some j-cloths one year

This made me laugh, my ex MIL in NZ bought me a 50 cent tea towel for my first years present, by year ten I had graduated to a fridge magnet.  They say that it is the thought that counts but as they were very wealthy I know what they thought about me, lol.

My worst present was a Donkey!

For years I had asked for a horse.. Birthdays, Christmas's and 363 days in between.. and nothing..

My gran told me to come down to the paddock, there was a surprise for me.. I nearly exploded.. off I went running down to the paddock to see my new horse..

My gran should have gone to specsavers lol.. The horse was donkey.. called Sheila.. First thing it did.. was bite,  That Donkey and I never did bond lol..

I got a brooch of a dog for xmas when I was 13 - I'd wanted a dog for ages and I was told that was the nearest I was getting!

I didn't give up though and eventually got one for my 14th birthday :-)

Not me but my son......... He had tonsillitus about every 6 weeks from age 2 to age 5 (when they FINALLY agreed to take them out - the week he should have started infant school!!!) because of this he had HUGE amounts of antibiotics which wrecked his teeth. He had to have over half of his baby-teeth taken out in mid Dec - my SiL bought him a big pack of HARD TOFFEES as his only xmas present from her, another year she gave him, aged 7, a pack of 2 white cotton underpants !!!.
After the toffee year I used to open her parcels to check them so he never saw the pants and had a toy car wrapped up instead. She lived in Norfolk and we were in Cardiff so didn't see her over Xmas so no problem.
