My girls and I have been waiting for this next instalment since I guess the last movie came out. Lol.
We absolutely loved it, it was thrilling and (no pun intended) spellbinding. Lots of action from the beginning, which kept us mesmerised, throughout the film.
As a ritual we always go together (just the three of us, OH falls asleep in cinema! so we don't let him come lol) on the evening it comes out, (I have asked them if they still want to be seen with their old mum) we get lots of sweets and chocolate, a huge popcorn and completely stuff ourselves, normally before the movie has even started!

They had two showing's at our cinema at 8.00pm and in our screen was mainly adults, which was good I didn't feel to out of place.:-D

I Initially started reading the books to encourage my girls to read more, we became hooked after seeing the first film, and have eagerly waited for each of the next books to make it to the big screen.
Now we have seen it, the downfall is we have to wait for the next one, well should I say two, at least it gives me breathing time to work off all the rubbish I ate lol. ;-)

My girls went to book at the local cinema yesterday (hoping to go last night), and all tickets are already booked until Monday night - and even for that there was only 8 left!

Went to see it yesterday, I enjoyed it, but not as much as others. Visually it was fantastic but plot wise it felt a bit weak and didn't really go anywhere - felt like it was treading water a bit. Funny, more aimed at adults, and some cracking acting from the main characters I thought - Harry, Draco and Ron in particular - and loved Luna thingy and Bellatrix (Helena Bonham Carter was made for that role)!

Ditto Carla,

I also thought it a bit of a filler, roll on the Deathly Hallows (I do hope by splitting it into two films they don't spoil it!!! )

I went with some friends to see the film and was really watching it for tech notes, it was really good as others said visually, with some amazing sets and beautiful lighting, textures and colouring which has at last brought some depth to the film, its defo an art film. They have changed the style of everything once again but for the better with it being much more adult, visualy complex but as others have said slightly lacking in the story line.

A must see

There were some comical moments, especially "young love" lol.

> Bellatrix (Helena Bonham Carter was made for that role)!

:-D Your spot on, she is just brilliant, couldn't imagine any one else playing Bellatrix.

me three. i felt it didn't explain a lot so deathly hallows is going to be very confusing for folk who've not read them- no explination about why these objects etc

Am I weird?  Not read any of the books and never wanted to nor wanted to see the films :)

the later books are worth a read, i like the intricacy that she puts in- tiny things from previous books become important etc.

i also like the names she uses- e.g a potions books author is called Libatious Borage :)

I didn't know they were planning to do this

... perhaps they'll use that as an opportunity to include all the things they missed from this film.  There is a lot that still needs explaining; in fact I didn't realise how much, as my knowledge of the books fills in the gaps for me, until my children started asking questions.  I realised aferward these should have been included!

Still a great film though
