Hi i have a small 8 week collie pup who is very small for her age, our other dogs are fed raw. How can we move her onto the raw food diet? Also, can we feed her bones, if yes which ones should i use baring in mind she is very tiny.
Also, can she be fed supplements like the others are; supplements such as codliver oil, primrose oil, kelp/alfalfa?

I start my pups on raw as soon as they come home. My youngest pup only weighed just over a pound when she came home at 6 weeks, so doubt your puppy is smaller than she was : )
I give them mainly minced meat some with bone in. I also give them whole chicken wings to chew on. I also will chop up the wings with a large knife. I also have a cast iron mincer which is great for chicken wings. I don't give young puppies too many bones as they can't excrete excess calcium as older dogs do. They also like gnawing on marrow bones even if the bone is bigger than they are.
I also give my pups fish body oil as it is supposed to be good for their brain development, but that it the only supplement i give them.
