hi guys

Is there any lists online which has all of the zero point food and rinks for weight watchers and also anywhere were there is zero point recipes?
- By Jolene [gb] Date 07.07.09 07:58 UTC
Why don't you subscribe to Weight Watchers online, then you'd have all the info you needed at your finger tips ;-)  most foods are pointed, only really vegetables are zero points and even some of those have points too.

Drinks ; water has no points!!!!!!  Diet Coke/Diet Lemonade are zero points. Black Coffee and herbal teas are zero points. Tea with no milk is zero points.

You're going to be hard pressed to find zero point recipes..................but Weight Watchers do a fantastic range of cookery books with low pointed recipes included.

You do need to eat a certain amount of calories/fat intake each day for your body to be healthy and the points system used by Weight Watchers is done so that we can all lose weight at a healthy rate, worked out using sat fats and calories. The amount of points that would be allocated for you to use daily is worked out on your own personal circumstances i.e, current weight, height, age and day to day activity. Hope that helps.

I agree why would you want zero points - you should use your points allowance per day that's what is it there for - I subscribe online and there are fab recipes on there - plus the recipe books are great too.

Exercise also can add activity points too so if you think you don't have enough do some exercise to earn them :)

I love my dog walks even more now as it can mean I have earned myself a pud or glass of wine some nights!

The only zero points recipes I can think of is vegetable soup, salad with no dressing and nothing with it, plain stir fry with no sauce or additions.  All a bit boring really, although ive just made myself some 0.5 point tomato soup which was lovely !!!

oh just remembered the butternut and red peppar soup is zero points and just scrummy - guess what I'm making tonight for lunch tomorrow :)

Well I have reached my 10% last week which is fab!  Would like to lose another stone really - have lost a whole stone in 6 weeks - OH has lost a stone and half.  People are now starting to notice.

We are both really doing ok - mind you he gets more points than me and that is a sore point some days to me LOL!

The food is great - also got the Italian cook book and the Weekdays book is fab too!

We eat so much better on this - I am never at a loss as to what to cook on an evening whereas previously used to never know what to cook!

We go to the weigh ins and if not too busy will stay for a meeting too.

I miss Cheese and eat as many as I like packets of crisps!

Had the gnocchi with bacon and spinach from the Italian book tonight which was quite nice :)

It's hard trying to lose weight.  I've got quite a lot to loose too Clairey, but you're loosing and that's better than putting on!  5 1/2 lb is good, think of five and a half packs of butter.  It does get you down when you think you've had a really good week and you stand on the scales and don't get the result you think you deserve (I know, it happens to me often!), but so long as you're weight is coming down, no matter how slowly, then that's great.  I try and be positive about it.  I weigh less now than I did three months ago and that can only be good!

Good luck everyone, it's a tough job.
