Just got back from the vets........again.
I noticed Zuma wasn't going sound early last week but it was barely noticable, as it was so hot I cut down his walks and did more of the walk on lead. no improvement by the w/end, vet had a good check but couldn't find any 'ouch' spots. He is now on 'box rest' as in no walks, no stairs, no jumping about etc till end of the week and if no improvement take him back on Friday for xrays. He is 2 on 17th, parents have good hip scores and Sire -elbows A normal, Dam elbow score 1.
Any ideas or thoughts please.

could be anything, some dogs don't show pain when being examined at the vets but will show it again as soon as they get home.
maybe he's just pulled a muscle or twisted his leg, lets hope a few days rest will make it better.

you could try a chiropractor its amazing how they can usually find the exact area which is causing the problem . Not very expensive depending on where you live I have number of a very good one. (who shows her dogs)

Thanks for the offer, I use a very good Mctimmony guy for both me and the dog so that is already on the list as one of the next steps, Vet was saying about xray on wrist (?) joint and elbow and I was wondering what were the sort of problems in that area she may be thinking of.

when I had pains in my arm it turned out to be a shoulder problem  causing the pain .

One of my girls had a sudden limp turned out it was her neck once she was treated by the chiro she was back to her normal healthy self I only needed the one visit .

the problems dont always appear to be where the pain is.

I would see the mc timmony guy first he may suggest x rays ...
