Hi, hopefully this is maybe just that her anal glands are a bit uncomfortable. I would personally not want to take her in the car really except for an emergency as she is so near to whelping and could go into labour at any time now. I would get the vet to do a home visit and if it is her anal glands he can deal with them quietly at your home or find out what else it may be. As long as she is active, eating well and happy and hasn't got a dark or green discharge I wouldn't think it has anything to do with being pregnant/puppies but I would get the vet to check her over at home.

When my bitch was pregnant she was so round she couldn't reach her back end as hard as she tried, this might be part of the reason?

Cos they either have no manners or just posted a fantasy question, in such a way as to get us all going and cause trouble/try to provoke arguments. Sad people either way! :-)
