I am offended by the title of this topic, can it please be removed.  My mum is a teaching assistant & your post applies that all people in this profession are scum, please remove it.

oh i do Sincerely apologize to you and anyone else who may be offended I was only  meaning  like that along with the other lady a few weeks ago in the nursery,
I to have been a ssa in my own Autistic sons school and my title was in no way meant to reflect on the many great ssa's who do a wonderful job supporting our special needs children

As it is, it doesn't read very well and sounds as if you are describing all teaching assistants as "pieces of scum".

You can ask Admin to change it if it is too late for you to do so.

What these two have done is dispicable but it in no way degradeds the wonderfull work 99.9% of these workers do. There are some very weird people in this world, At leaset he had the decency to remove himself from life..we will not have to worry about keeping him in prison, and hopefully she will get her just deserts....a long trip to prison curtisy of HM.

When I first read the title I was quite offended as I too am a Teaching Assistant and it did appear at first reading that all TAs were being tarred with the same brush. On reading the thread it was apparent that this was not the intention - just a badly worded title.

yes i am truely sorry BIG mistake on my part i am one of those who sometimes puts her foot in her mouth at times, if you know what i mean,
