Topic Dog Boards / Showing / Higham press question

I have just entered a show online with higham press, the entry is £24 for my CC breed and £14 for my non CC breed.

I understand that it is £1 ad charge to enter online thats all fine.

But i have been charged £26 for my CC breed and £16 for my non CC breed , where did the extra £1 for each entry come from?

There are a few shows now that charge an extra pound or two per entry for any entries made online after the postal entry closing date - if it was Paignton that's one of them.

Well shorly they should tell you that on their website but they do not they just have £1 admin charge.

Peanuts i would give them a call as i'm sure there is something to do with trading standards that if there is no mention of any extra charge they can't do it. Double check their website and if no mention of extra charge i would call them ask and enquire about this and see if you can get your £2 refund.

Quite agree on the point of the matter, you think you are paying one price and then get charged another.
Let us know how you get on.

Have spoken to dog biz, they say that it is the society charging extra for a late entry to cover the extension of the entry.

Won't leave it so late next time.
