I love watching my dogs playing together, they seem to move in total synch and it is like they are doing capoeira sometimes!
It absolutely cracks me up when the pup swipes a giant paw in her direction and she ducks out the way to make the next move. they also do a bizarre 'dance' like rutting stags and the pup will often initiate the playing by running behind her and skelping her across the butt like a sleazy man patting a woman's bum.
Missy seems to be able to predict his moves and when he takes a flying leap at her she ducks down and reverses out behind him before leaping at him. When the pup first moved in 6 months ago I never thought missy would accept him as well as she has so just wanted to share how much they make me laugh - they are like a laurel and hardy movie to watch, slapstick fun. :-D
What do your dogs do that make you laugh out loud?
the way they play as well maddie will walk over to chas and all of a sudden will duck her head down and grab hold of one of his legs they have a wrestle on the floor then they both end up standing up heads next to each other then its guessing who will make the first move and start off the play all over again.
When maddie came home chas was less than impressed with this horrible little thing that kept hanging off his face you could see the 'get this thing off me mum' look that he used to give us and he really went through it with maddie sitting on his head humping him, hanging off his face, running under him and biting his leg so he could not get to her, but now its a different story they play, sleep, eat, together and if you take one out without the other the one left behnd will watch the other walk up the road.

aaaah, they are funny little critters aren't they. Missy has a new lease of life with regards to playing as before she just wouldn't do it but now she realises just how much fun can be had, lol :)
Mason makes me laugh when he smiles soo wide with both ears flipped back (inside out :) ) and cant see whats so funny!
When he cocks his head to listen to new noises...
Also when he barks at something silly like a carrier bag in the wind, i pick it up and he rushes over, bum wiggling like mad as if to say "doh! silly me, i knew it was that but i was just checking!" Everyday he makes me laugh out loud, i dont know what i'd i do without him!
The best though is if we are out and my partner isnt there i'll say, where's daddy? and he'll go bonkers, running back and forth..."Im sure we didnt bring him, but, oh my gosh, maybe he's hiding" Mason adores him!

I was watching my lot the other day.
My much too smart Chow was sitting on the deck and his Dobe sister came hurtling out the house up the path to run past him and on to the lawn. What does my boy do? Waits till she's close and then sticks his front leg out to trip her up :)
Luckily, no sense, no feeling where she is concerned, lol.

the way my 2 bullys play together is the best they always make me laugh , they are so much the same its almost like they know what each others going to do next as they dart from one end of the garden to the other then they freeze stare at each other for a few seconds then its off again having their Dubby flurky moments it the funniest thing and i could watch them all day long and be smiling

I love the "where's daddy" game - especially as it ends with jazz taking a flying leap to lick N's face, usually at the most inconvienient time.
Also the furrow in his brow when he is confused by something with his head to the side.
The way he stalks spiders before pouncing and playing with it ending with eating it.
The "backchat" grumble we get when we give a command he doesn't really want to do
ooh too much! The last yr has been fab can't imagine being without him.

Chablis plays a lot on her own when Mum and Granny have had enough of her antics. She will often rush into the lounge of an evening and do Tigger bounces round and round barking at herself! then she sees her tail...it chases her about... and needs biting if she can get to it..mind you it's so long she has no trouble getting hold of it then she Tigger bounces with her tail in her mouth!! Her long suffering Mum puts up with all kind of nonsence and is often to be seen being pulled round the garden by the jowels as Chablis growls and pulls. I buy soft toys from the charity shops, remove the eyes and they have a ball ripping them to shreds, Bernese have very strong mouths and can massacer a teddy in no time! They leave the garden looking like it has been snowing with all the fluffy insides strewn around.
But when we are out on a walk they don't play, they seem to think it's a serious business and have to smell everything and look for rabbits to chase.

I can imagine the fun and games :) well Archie just wants to play....:) the labs get a little tired of his antics after awhile, He likes playing with the male lab the most.
We have a 14 month old foster here at the mo, so Archie has a new playmate :)
We have a funny half hour every night the Cocker starts it grabbing the BC but the BC just waits and the cocker goes ballistic barking trying to get the BC to move, which he does over the cockers head. Round and round the furniture (we stick the volume up on the tv). Then out into the garden through the flower beds back in. We have all the play bowing and barking by the cocker. Which is funny as he does not make a sound all day the BC is the barker.
Plus when you say "where's your nunu?" and off they go to find it!
And the groans when you accidently move them whilst trying to move a numb leg!!
At the moment evry night I water my pots in the garden and we all play with the hose, all get wet but its so funny when they try and catch the water out the hose!!
They are my absolute joy!!

>> They are my absolute joy!!
aaaah, that sums it up totally. Despite the early mornings (every morning), hair in every meal, stinky farts, slobber, the odour of pigs ears, hair on every surface etc etc they bring so much joy in our lives. My pair of chav hounds are definitely the dog's doo-da's in my world :)

Tinker - about 12/13 yrs old BC X still loves her '5 mins of fame' totally taking over the house and leaping from one settee to the other [opposite each other], 'barking mad' in more ways than one LOL. She also likes to do this in the garden - even more so when she can dig a few plants or roots up as she goes along. Heidi likes to chase her at first but [at only 3 yrs old] has no chance of keeping up with her and ends up staying in one place and either barking or just jumping on the spot to encourage Tinker to create even more. It
can be really irritating at times - but mostly it makes me smile and laugh. Not too sure about the neighbours tho HEE_HEE.

i had my son get me the baby bath from the attic the other day because my young bullly is fascinated with water I noticed it the first time I took him to the beach he went straight in the sea then seemed amazed that the water moves he watches it and digs at it ,
So when I filled the baby bath it was so sweet he puts his nose to the water so his breath causes ripples in the water then he follows them then sticks a paw in and scratches the water he is so curious its funny to watch I put a rubber duck in the bath today and he loved it kept sticking his paw in to touch it then pulls back to watch it move lol then started runing round the bath like he expected the duck to chase him, he seems to transfix on the water at times watching it closely for ages, im thinking of getting a paddling pool for the dogs :-)
Ive got a small fish pond and my cocker has (for once) looked into the water and seen the fish. Now he peers at them and sitcks his nose in and they scat. We are left with pond smelling ears 24/7. So funny he stalks them and cant understand when he peers in they see his shadow and scat!!

My youngest dog sings to the older one. It is so sweet and I have at long last managed to get it filmed.
When I put it on utube I will post the link. It is so very sweet it began as the puppy baying for attention, as they do to their parents, but three years on it is a proper love song!
Oh please put it on I loved the one on you tube as well when they were barking I love U.
