There is usually a tent at the entrance run by lovely Welsh people, I dont think it was that much though.
Karen

Sorry to jump in with another question, but it is my first show.
I entered by post, should I get a confirmation at all, or do I just turn up on the day?

Hello
You will receive all the details through the post, your bench number, car park pass, tent number and the start of judging, it will usually arrive about 10 days before the show

Fab, Thanks.

Hi, it might be worth asking the secretary if you can take your 2 not being shown into the showground under the umbrella of "spectator dogs". All secretaries were issued with spectator dog entry acceptance forms by the KC to be used at their discretion. At Blackpool they were charging the general public £2.00 to bring their dogs into the showground. That's why they weren't asking to look at removal passes. We only found out about this yesterday whilst chatting to the lady handing out catalogues.

Do spectator dogs have to be registered with the KC? What if any papers have to be taken? Also what if you get there and they refuse to allow dog/s in on this ruling? Thats £14per dog for the tent on this show.. Wow £28 for 2 dogs to be in a tent.
At Blackpool they were charging the general public £2.00 to bring their dogs into the showground. That's why they weren't asking to look at removal passes. They weren't looking at any passes to get IN either, though. Everyone just walked in on Sunday, no passes checked, no charges made.
The unentered dogs tent usually charges about £5 per dog per day. I don't think that's a lot to know that your dog is safe, because there's always someone looking after them all the time
i have spoke to secretary and there is a tent ,so i am taking my 2 and putting them in the tent ,even if they could go in as spectators i will still put them in the hospitality tent ,rather than drag them around as they will be benched/caged and cared for and i can pop to see them as often as i can
