Hello,
My toy bitch stood for our stud dog Big on day nine and then again twice on day ten however now Big is no longer interested in her and she is doing all she can for him to mate her again, now on day twelve.
What is the probability that she will have been caught? or is this too early?
Any idea's why Big is No longer interested?
Thanks
Mark

I have a toy breed bitch (by the way you are not allowed to mention the breed here) that got pregnant from first mating on day 5 -she usually stands on day 3 already. All bitches are individual but day 9 isn't rare.
you could allways send test of to see if she has ovulated..
then if has you know not to worry about trying to get her mated again..and vice versa if hasnt ovulated..then needs mating again
good luck

I don't think you'll be able to tell if she's ovulated if you haven't taken blood from
before she's ovulated to detect the change in hormone level.

My last litter was from a mating at day 6.
Hi guys just to keep you posted Belle is now on day 14 and has mated again today Big is more interested than ever before, even guarding her now.
Fingers Crossed.

I would hope that a toy stud dog would be called Tiny! :)
