HI ALL,

this is my old dog i had with my ex girlfriend. im looking for another one the same but never new what breed he was. after reserching i seemed the thing american water spaniel but i thing he might be sprocker, cocker x springer or maybe a field spaniel. does anyone know so i can find a new best friend ???

Hes a working type springer spaniel just of a more of a solid liver colouring than the typical liver and white.

springers are a very common breed, though you might not be able to match the colour. try conctacting the breed clubs.

No, working-type springers are very commonly advertised in the shooting press. You'll need to bear in mind that breeders of 'working' gundogs breed for working ability, not colour.
