Does anyone know of any teething toys popular with 4 week + puppies and any good & reliable places I an get them on the internet as cheep as possible would be nice! (Not e-bay, dislike e-bay!)

Puppies now are liking their toys but need more chew ones.  Can't give them puppy nylabones as mum eats them

have you tried a raw carrot, make great teething toys!

I stock up on rawhide chews.  They do circular ones in different sizes.  Mine need the diddy size, but depends on breed.  Never bought online, as they stock them at PAH.

Raw carrots as mentioned above are excellent and also apples - My pups like to role them around and attack them!

I normally avoid rawhide chews due to the risks of them becoming soggy and getting swallowed but that's just my personal preference.

I never give my dogs rawhide chews, I used to live near a local tannery who produced rawhide chews as a by product-if pet owners were aware of all the chemicals(some cancer causing)involved in producing them they would never let their dogs even get a sniff of them. Now these chews are produced abroad the controls are even less on the chemicals used

I don't give my adult dogs rawhide and won't be giving it to 4 week pups.  also anything sizeable for them mum could choke on and I don't want to be having to rummage round the pen everytime she wants to go in.  Plus she could jump the pen if she wanted to...

I'm more looking for non edible items.  I have the nylabone pacifier and thinking of getting the teething keys but anything else toy wise?

Will give them carrots when they are older but with little nutritional value I don't want them filling up their tummies!!!!

Mine used to like rubber bones like this. Other than that they just had things like plastic pop bottles and ... wait for it ... coconuts! They used to love ripping off the hair! 4 weeks is probably a little young, though.

How about real rib bones?

I was thinking of getting bones for them.  Just got out chicken wings from the freezer for them tomorrow too.  They have decided they don't like the kibble soaked anymore, won't eat it but give it to them dry and it's great, give it with mince and even better!  I might have to start reading about BARF feeding the way this lot are going, also seem to wake up when I get some meat out.  Love the idea of coconuts in couple of weeks...but do I get to eat the inside first!? :-D

Might round up afew small bottles too.  think the 2 litre ones are a little too much at the moment.

Lamb bones and chicken wings they will love em and mum will love cleaning up after they have done.

I bet Mum would!  I don't feed BARF but they do get treats of bones and wings etc when we pick them up from the supermarket!  Only problem now is keeping mum OUT of puppies!

Zuma did a lot of his teething on an old pony snaffle bit, no sharp edges, stayed nice and cool plus it made a nice noise when he was a bit older.

My lot fought like crazy over a Nylabone fish that I bought last year.  Had to go out and buy one for each.  They are bacon flavoured and glow in the dark - not really a selling point - didn't get that at all, but the pups loved them. Lasted quite well considering the chewing they got

Another popular choice from the toy box/chest/mountain was a set of nylabone keys, no flavour but seemed to satisfy the gummy ones.

Usually go to charity shops and get baby toys.  Got a great little toy with loads of tiny tennis balls for when I have my next litter the other day.
